Tessa Russell

Tessa Russell is a freelance writer and editor with experience across the public, voluntary and private sectors, and a valuable background in research. She worked within the Tribal group, producing publications and online content for clients including the Department of Health and spent eight years at Which? magazine, first as a researcher then as Assistant Editor. Her career has also included roles at Skill – the charity for students with disabilities – campaigning organisation Charter 88, and the University of East London.

Her recent freelance work includes a substantial report for the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), based on interviews with successful women in the profession, and a series of assignments supporting the British Standards Institution’s public communications strategy.

She is skilled at turning complex information into compelling, jargon-free copy for a range of audiences across various formats – from magazine articles to business reports. Tessa’s expertise adds an extra dimension to our research outputs, providing professional editorial capability to reporting and dissemination.
