Chrysalis Research has worked closely with Sky since 2012, providing independent evaluation and consultancy for Sky’s initiatives with young people. Launched in 2013, Sky Academy uses TV, creativity and sport to build practical skills and experience with the aim to unlock potential of 1 million young people by 2020.

Chrysalis Research is responsible for the evaluation of all Sky Academy initiatives: Sky Sports Living for Sport, Sky Academy Skills Studios, Sky Academy Careers Lab, Sky Academy Starting Out and Sky Academy Scholarships. We designed a cross-cutting research programme to evaluate the impact of Sky Academy and strengthen its initiatives. We report to Sky annually on a range of impact measures and make recommendations for development.
